One hose for steering hoses, one for engine. There will be two deck glands on the face of the box, one gland will serve the bilge pump and transducer (both in the bilge well) and the other to supply the A frame.
Thanks for the update ,great read !
That is a super solution ,should be standard on all R/C !,i suspect you made the mounting box yourself
I,m sure you have a plan but i tapped the plastic bung at the base of the A frame m16 or m20 to take an adaptaflex fitting for the wiring conduit
Great stuff all looks immaculate ...........Merry Christmas to all

I’m afraid my skill levels don’t stretch to the quality of fibreglass work that’s been done to this boat but I know a man that can.

I can get by doing the electrical, mechanical or painting but structural glassing is not me.

Fantastic

I've followed this from day one and can only say I am spellbound by the workmanship and transformation to date. Well done.

Can I asked what you used for the well cover? I like the look of the black grating. Thinking of doing something similar.

Its surprising how much extra useable space it gives you. Perfect place for a fish box, cool box or a couple of fuel cans. The cable box should keep anything from moving about the deck

After seeing it first hand recently I must say Alan's re-furb looks even better 'In the flesh'!

Infact ...his layout and attention to detail coupled with the quality of work undertaken and completed...with top notch fit and finish and little personal touches ranks it as good (if not better!) than pretty much ANY renovation job I have seen to date...and I've seen a few
You've done a brilliant Job Mate!

Not much progress over the festivities.

Transducer fitted and A Frame wired. I decided to stick a slimline enclosure on the A frame, inside the enclosure is the positive connections for the lights and a negative busbar. There’s also a switched positive from a spare switch on console just in case I want power for a deck light or such like.

Talamex Nav lights.

Downwards? The box is on the horizontal at top of A frame.

Got the fuel side of things sorted today. I had a local fabricator make me up a bulkhead fitting to take the fuel and breather from below deck up in to console. It’s a tight fit. Tank and connections leak tested. The cap was used to blank off the tank for testing.

Get a Barton fuel whistle in the filler breather. Save getting covered in splash back petrol.
