Any news on progress with your Prosport?

Had a number of phone calls today regarding engine and tubes giving me some lingering concerns. PM me if you want more details. Do you know anything about the tube suppliers, they seem to be letting Jason down.... and me indirectly.

I know they use Orca fabric - believe they are made in France but maybe that is just the fabric!

Tim do you claim duty back on all the fuel you buy for the boats or are their ant terms and conditions attached to the relief..

I must get it together to do this ( i hate forms) as our fuel burn last year was over 7k and that's a lot of Duty

The samples I chose from were made by Chiorino who have a British website, but again I don't think they actually make the tubes.

I Know about the tube suppliers, they are a fantastic company and have a very good track record. I think the reason tubes are being held up is due to a bad batch of glue which has caused quite a few tube companies to recall tubes etc.

Are we sure he is waiting for tubes and not just using it as an excuse????

Tubes are made by www.olmectubing.co.uk I got the number off this web site and spoke to Ed who explained that they have had a problem with glue and my tubes had failed. That was last monday (14th) and he said he would get straight on the case and make make new ones. I spoke to him again this Monday (21st) and he said tubes were done and they should be dispatched Tuesday (22nd). So they should be on their way. Ed seems like a genuine guy, and the glue problem was not their fault. If my tubes are on their way I will be very impressed with the way Olmec have handled the situation.
