Euan, that would be perfect, also a nice large integeral aft bench seat for those lazy days in St.Aubins. A 9 metre Rib is huge!

dangers, I think you'll find plenty of space left with that seating arrangement.
What engine(s) are you thinking of and what colour rib. Didn't see your 9m on the board but as he probably knows your full name and I don't I wouldn't have noticed it.

dangers, just seen your profile. There were a number of 8.5's on the board. Infact they were all 8.5 except Jahno's 9 and my little one!
What date have you been given for delivery?
I sent you a PM on Sunday!

A single 250hp Suzuki 4 stroke should do the trick. As for colour, I'm going for boring grey. Dark colours fade, and the lighter colours look a bit lary, especially that green! Also thinking about resale value.

Jason has priced up an 8.5m for me, but I haven't paid the deposit yet, so probably won't be on the board. I'm hoping to see an 8.5m Prosport in Jersey this weekend. I'm sure I won't change my mind, but seeing something in the flesh will make me feel better about parting with the cash.

Have they got different moulds for the 8.5 and 9m? I thought they were different interpretations of the same thing.

The 7.5+ and 8.5 are the same mould, I would think the 9m is the same mould, they just move the transom along. Not sure though.

More than likely 8.5 with Suz 250 in Jsy and 6.5 diesel plus 8.5 outboard in the UK I think? Don't quote me, but that was the plan.

Tests

If anyone wants to test the 6.5 or 9 i wouldn't have aproblem with anyone coming over to our waterside base in North Wales once we have taken delivery. Ian 7.5 will be next door also and i'm sure he wouldn't have a problem viewing testing.

I really dont have the money to buy or the space to keep a rib that big.
Im only really interested in the 6m.
The 6.5 is a medium v hull.
The 7.5 is a deep v hull.

Anyone know about the 6m?

That's a good performance for just 112hp, Jason. Was the rig quite light?

no, unfortunately they had a problem with the Evinrude, so it didn't get launched. Jason reckons he'll get one down here for next weekend, so all being well I will post a report after that. I hope to take my mate Bob who has a 7.8m Mako to see how they compare.
