looks to me like one of the zodiac 15 footers, although there were some made by R.F.D.though they were more silvery in colour . ,basic though wasent it , the steering compasses were set in the middle of the floor . and the crew suits were basic too in those days ,

We got one in Morecambe in 1966 but can't remeber what type it was, I will check.
If I remember rightly, we allways seemed to catch our knees on that compass, and as for dry suits, na sorry guys you have to use these thigh waders and oilskins over the top, oh and push the boat up and down the slip by hand. No quads or Land Rovers in them days !!!
Actually it was my dad that was crew then I didnt start till 1978 but that compass was still there in the middle of the mat.
