PVC adhesive

Which adhesive would you recommend for making an elephant trunk up
also which sealant to bond it to the plastic where it comes out of the transom.

Sikaflex any good.

PVC glue would be best to make the tube.



What kind of plastic is it? HDPE? Not much sticks to that. There's a couple of epoxies that will bond to HDPE, but you have to search for them.

If you're sticking the tube over a short pipe structure, how about a hose clamp and some marine caulking?

Layflat irrigation tubing is the easy solution to elephant trunks but not sure what colour choices you can have... with a pipe clip

That's what i did on my SR5.4, works fine.
