Question for the tubers out there

Can I carry on sticking on the last load of strips and rubbing strake etc when it is raining, ie moist air? The boat is in a dry barn but its very drafty with large holes in the walls. Rain can't get in, but I'm worried about the moisture in the air...will it have a negative effect on my joint strength? I'm thinking i should leave it a couple of days until it brightens up a bit?

Thanks,

Tim

Think you're right to stop Tim. High humidity isn't good for sticking. I did see some intructions posted on RIBnet some time ago, I'll be blowed if I can find it though!

You will more than likely find a layer of condensation on the glue after applying, this will make things pretty difficult, i would recommend waiting for a lower humidity.

Thanks Andy and Ed, I will wait a couple of days. I still have plenty of prep to keep me busy.
