Does any one know the reasons why (or what is the logic behind) for a RIB to participate in F2 races to have minimum hull LOA 6.5 mtrs? Why a RIB with 6.10 hull LOA cannot take part?
I have asked around but so far have not received any answers on this one
I can understand the weight thing but not the LOA minimum requirement! Can this change? and how, who do you have to contact (except the usual people)?

You have asked, and had explained to you by Jim Mack and all several times, the reasons for this. If you hadn't, you wouldn't have posted the following:
Minimum sizes (in all types of powerboating) were brought in to to really stop light weight calm water specials that may not be so safe in open sea conditions. 6.5 metres was where the break off point was decided for F2.
However for RIB's which are going to be mainly a production hull based series there is also the RCD to take into account so again a minimum length will come into play somewhere.
Finally it is no ideal to have too much over-lapping of classes and as such the smaller boats (length and power) were to be the F3 class.
This was all the result of much work and discussion by BIBOA. Nothing to do with me so I cannot comment on specific values / lengths etc..
