It looks as though you southern folk are likely to get wet tomorrow.

And the folks in the Western Isles are at risk of death during the night.

It is always the West coast that catches it - never known rain like it - torrential for the last 2 weeks now - just getting into the car and you get soaked - fed up!!!

It wasn't so bad - 50knot winds lastnight, and 101.6mm of rain in 24hrs

In the last hour, the clouds have gone and the wind is down to a few knots only - river like a millpond.

I gather it was pretty windy up north (scotland) yesterday however - the isobars on the charts looked nice and tight together for a while

Errr... London's had lovely weather past few days and much of last week. Glorious sunshine, blue skys. Out strolling in the park in a tee-shirt earier! Raining now a bit now though.
