Packed programme - V24 and all sorts!

Anyone else going?

We're tentatively planning to go by sea (about 150miles from our base in Southampton) as the weather is looking good. Departing Friday. Anyone else up for the trip?

I will be there, well its only 5 min from the house!!
I have not heard anything about safety boats for this year.
I take it that it is all sorted.

Saturday will be a good night again!!!!

Funny my phone has indeed rung.
Down side is due to the lateness I am unbale to borrow a boat as i did last year.

So it looks like I will just be another spectator this year!

You'd be very welcome on Blue Ice. After travelling round on Friday, I wouldn't mind staying on dry land while the racing is on!

Ian and Phil will be around to.
Phil is planning to be on the in-laws boat, funny looking thing with sails!!!

You just brinig your Ski's?
May have to blag a run out!!

I will be dropping in on Saturday then there for all of Sunday.
Got to do DIY Saturday!!!

Will try and make the party but def for the fireworks (well my daughters tells me we will be there for them!)

What ever happens I will catch up with you all at some stage.

For those who are interested, the following racing will be taking place:

Saturday:
Hovercraft from 10 am
ThunderCats from 11 am
K Class from 11 am

Sunday:
As above plus
V24 from 1 pm
F200 from 2.30 pm

F200 is a class which encompasses National Class III 'C', RIBs F1 and Basic Production.

I am a total novice at all this so please correct me if I'm wrong!

Really looking forward to it!

Only other thing to mention is there is normally firewaork on the Saturday night and no I don't mean it all kicks off in the bar tent!!

She is no not only wanting to watch the fireworks but keeps asking if Cookee is racing and can we see him race!!

Yes Jon - you can tell your daughter we'll be there - I suspect it's the fact that she has a couple of BananaShark stickers that did it! You can tell her that when her dad sorts out a handset VHF I'll see if I can get her a Stainless steel BananaShark keyring as well! Bringing the leisure boat as well by the way!

She love the lesiure boat, do you need a driver or crew for it?

I think she may have a bit of a wait for the keyring then unless her dad buys her one!!

Do you do the Ribnet polo's in kids sizes?

We have a driver and crew, but if you speak to Kevin nicely you might be able to convince him of the need for a radio operator!

Sorry the keyrings are not for sale - but they are free with every boat!

Ribnet Polos are only in adult sizes, but they are available to special order - we can discuss the terms at the weekend! They can be personalised as well for a meagre extra sum!
