Random question

For the second year in a row will be spending summer on overseas secondment so no boating for mebut at least it's warm here so looking for books to read while sat by the pool.

Already read the Colin Jones book can anyone recommend other good books related to RIB design, buying used or expeditions ???

The Bear Gryls books where he crosses the Atlantic in a RIb is quite good, can't remember what it is called though.

Just looked it up (have too much time on my hands!) 'Facing the frozen ocean' I believe you refer to and now in my amazon basket :-) any other sugestions welcome

I had a laugh at that. In this months PB&R he says they've got orders for them to go to somewhere in Central America for chasing drug runners.

Somewhat Ironic seeing as they're Cromptons by another name...

Thanks Daniel .... Think you meant 'confronting Poseidon' written by Clive Tully (apparently Alan Priddy was in the boat as well) both on order £6.51 (used) from amazon bargain!!

Yes, one of the most gripping books I've read.


Read beating the big one first as its the precursor in many ways.
