Thanks for the help,
This is the second time I've posted on here with no response? Is it a closed shop?

Hi Flanker..welcome to the forum.. and its not a closed shop.. I find it ok anyhoo

I just ignored your post cos I know nothing about your boat ..since you asked..is it a closed shop..I checked you first post.. and it was added onto a post that ended in 2006..the folk on that original post may well be dead now.. it was so long ago.

Perhaps you are new to forums ? So if you wait and someone knows the answer ..im sure the will reply..hell once you have been here long enough ..you will find that some folks will make up an answer regardless

Take you time and settle in .. hope that helps some..even though its not what you are asking about

Yup..get some info up on what you getting Flanker ... forums are about communicating ..talking shop.. debating ..and once every so often..throwing toys out the pram.

It can be as intimidating as starting a new job in a new town..so the more you communicate the more folks will communicate back..some you will like..some you will just shake your head at..but thats forums for you..not much different than your real world.. in fact..I think some folks on here are real too ?

Good luck with your journey into Ribnet.. remember when it gets choppy..head for shore until it calms again

Hey..nice looking boat Flanker.

I tried a google search for you..but only came up with

RAPIDE - 480 S RIBs and Inflatable Boats for sale in Dorset, South West :: Boats and Outboards

Which I presume is the boat you are collecting today ?

Hope all goes well for you.. and you will post back and let us know what it is like..how it performs etc.

Hopefully..if it is a private sale ..you will view it and be happy with your choice before you hand over any cash.. good luck

Ive just got back home from Bournemouth with the Rapide 480s, it looks better in the flesh and its mine.
The story behind the boat is that it was custom made by Boatylicious Marine in Poole for a famous Welshman from Haverford West in 2011.I has been used for a total of 20.7 hours and is as good as new.
Im happy with the deal and cant wait for my PowerBoat2 course in Cardiff Bay in Feb next year.
Its just what I wanted as a step up from my Honwave 35T.
