Rare Osprey Rib

Got my mitts on a 8.2 Mtr Osprey Falcon

Never new that Osprey did bolt on tubes,,, Said I would call it a day on build threads but thinking that this most certainly warrants one,

Chuff me its wide,,fitted with 450hp of optimax egg whisks ,,

Will be going stealth black deck hull tubes etc, pushing. For 4 weeks start to finish,, Nutter !

Nice project Edd !

Bolt on tubes will make the RIB 1994 to 1996 after 96 the tubes were modified by rolling them in and changing to glue on. This was purely to make the RIB road legal without having to deflate the tubes (as I can see you have had to do)

We have not done a Falcon for a few years now so looking forward to seeing you resurrect one ! Most of the Falcons built went to commercial users with many being inboard diesel so it will be very interesting to see one with 450HP of Optimax perform. !

Wasn't it a Falcon that the SBS did a WOT run to St Kilda in wearing full combat gear?

Yep that was the standard Osprey Layout for the Seating and the "piano" Console as its known... I think all the moulds are still hiding at the back of the workshop somewhere.

The Eagle is a superb rib and punches well above its weight in the rough stuff.
