I'm proud to announce that my book on last year's Round Britain powerboat race is finally finished and available for sale. It's called "Chasing The Horizon- one man's account of the 2008 Round Britain Powerboat Race", and, as the title suggests, it's not intended to be a dry, stuffy blow-by-blow report on the race.
Instead it's the story of how I covered the event for MotorBoat & Yachting magazine- an assignment that lurched from one near-catastrophe to another. In the end I was lucky enough to race on board with five different teams, including the phenomenal Goldfish 36 that came second overall.
