it looks like a blagg, ribs were just inflatables when they were building speedboats

Thanks Biff, I did wonder 'cos I didn't realise they made them up to 6m. I figured it wasn't a Hysucat...

He want's €5k for it wiv no motor, claims it's a 2000 build!

It is a Blagg Bosun. Certainly not built in 2000 as from memory the last ones built in UK were made in about 1999. The moulds were shipped to New Zealand shortly after. This is one we re tubed about five years ago with yellow tubes and a picture of one of the original Bosun's from about 1984

i have a story about a blagg involving the blade runners, goes like this, ice marine sent a blade runner to the states, true to form a designer there said, i'm doing you for copyright infringement, the story was told to me by my mate here in britain who was involved and i in turn told him about an old boat called a blagg which was about long before his copy right, needless to say it was dropped quite quickly, love it!!!

I think Chris has got his dates slightly confused last UK built blagg Bosun was built in 1989 not 1999 ,both Woody Blagg and Lorne Cambell were involved with the American case

i dont think it got to court, they shipped an old blagg out there and basically said "ave a look", john was and still is working for Lorne and Ice and i'll ask him when i see him, i think you may have had a visit from him recently Cookee, called you Cookee rather than John, starting to get confusing

went like a bat out of hell but took water over the bows when stationary if heavily loaded in some conditions
