Recommend a phone holder

Question: does anyone use, and can recommend, a phone holder suitable for use on a RIB? Ideally I'd like one with a suction cup base but the main thing is that it'll hold the phone well and not come off the minute you hit a wave.

Checkout railblaza.com I ve got this stuff all over my rig. Nicely made and well designed.

Railblaza are good - I use Lifeproof which has a wide range inc. waterproof phone holders. Looks on Amazon for warehouse deals, otherwise they are pricey.

I have the bar mount attached to the console grab handle - works well.

Thanks people.

I looked at Railblaza but I don't really have a bar in quite the right place, and since there's a possibility I may be moving the rig on at some point I'm loathe to start drilling the console to attach one of their mounts.

The drawback with the lifeproof stuff is that you have to mount a metal adapter on the back of the case for it to work with the holder; obviously this is going to interfere with wireless charging whan not on the boat. I've ended up ordering it anyway cos I've found a package deal on Amazon for £50, so I'll use it on the boat and use summat else the rest of the time.

We also use railblaza - got a few 'ports' around the boat and then you have the option of fitting any of the attachments ( phone / vhf HH / cups / fishing rods holders ) - bloody brilliant

Ram mounts are goo and are a system so handy for different things you could get a cup or fix a ball mount.

I've done it slightly differently and put two strips of velcro on the back of my phone and then two strips on various items (boat/cars) where phone needs to be secured. On the boat it rests (secured) on the top of the console between VHF and Compass, works a treat and I can see it flashing if someone rings (can't hear it otherwise over the noise of the boat).
