Get some 5mm zipped dive boots and shake some cheap uncented talk in them when they are dry and they will go on easy. I use a size larger than my shoe size which is still tight with the dry suit but not uncomfortable. I also carry a small piece of carpet to stand on when putting the dry suit on as this prevents puncturing the built in socks.
