Yes, they're very nice boats.
And now they have a bit of (fuel efficient) competition in the Pilot market.
I expect that some Ex-calibur fans will be quick into the fray at this point to highlight the use of the "wrong" water in the sea trial

Can't help you there, sorry! You'd need to talk to the Redbay Sales Department, I think they have someone on here...

They say "Power is coming from twin Volvo Penta D9 500hp engines coupled to ZF gearboxes with shafts and rudders."

Well that's bound to get her shifting along. Any idea what the performance figure are or is it too soon to tell yet?
When will they be letting you loose on her?

Hey Siochair,
Taught you would have the old contacts for Redbay when you were thinking of buying.
There is no exact details out yet, but if your interested as Willk siad, drop Steve a message I'm sure he has the detail.
...Seeing as it appears the last Redbay Supporter has turned game keeper !!
And at this stage if the Rathlin sound has probably been well traveled by her, would expect they are starting to put together the glossy now that she is in the water.
You might swing by and get a look at her, not far off the road home from Glasgow.... As always an impressive sight.
Here's another couple of shots of her - think there are one or two new shots that are not in the last video. Enjoy

Just idle curiosity, sadly I suspect that it will be well out of my price range.

Would love to. Showing my ignorance and obvious lack of seamanship, wtf is a sidestep on the crest of a wave? Sounds clever, difficult and useful!
You coming Saturday to Ireland?

After the very successful launch of the Pilot boat version - work has now started on the manufacture of the "plug" for the Passenger cabin version.
