Has anyone here download this app? Reviews for previous versions weren't great but they were for old versions so took a chance, all the info is there and once you find your way around the functions useful tool for reference, however your supposed to be able to view charlet full screen but the 'expand view' icon described in the help info is not there neither will it swipe to expand as suggested by the help info, been in touch with there help team and they can't work out what's going wrong also tried reinstalling but no joy!?
Not ruling out operator error and wonder if there is anyone on here that can advise?
Hi - yes I bought the app with just region 2, which covers the area I need & I use it on an iPad mini. The expand icon only appears when the iPad is in portrait mode and you can toggle between 'normal view' (with port list on the left of the screen) and 'expand view' without the port list. However both views still have and ad link to 'Decorative Knots' which takes up valuable screen space and is a cheek when you have paid for the app! Also The shop icon at the bottom of the screen indicates a purchase update with a red '1' for the next 12 months subscription - even tho' my subscription doesn't expire until the end of July 2014!! So overly a bit too commercial for my liking - but I suppose the printed Almanac is full of ads as well.
Think you will find all updates will be free of charge throughout your subscription, the 'help team' did advise me an update was due any day for 2014 data they were just waiting for apple approval prior to release, agree with your banner comment .... iritating!!
