Removal backrest/ leaning post for driver of a double lenght seat?

I have a double lenght seat on my rib. I am considering if it would be possible to make a removeable back rest/ leaning post for the driver. Has anyone on this forum done so? if so are there any photos , Pros and cons appricated

It's possible, I had just that done for mine, and it works well now

Looking at your pic though, you might fine it a bit tight as the seat looks a bit shorter than my double, difficult to tell though
