Removing glue from tubes and other tube questions

Hi all.

I have removed rubber patches (on to protect tubes from fish hooks) from my redbay and looking for recommendations to get rid of the glue left behind. Please see pics.

Also I have a bit of rubbing streak coming away and a wee bit of damage where tubes are fixed to hull.
And recommendations for how to fix?

Acetone . And elbow grease . The rope handle mounts came away 2 years ago on our blue rib . Asked the manufacturer what to do and that was his answer . Cleaned up lovely ready for re gluing . The rope holder got bashed and has ripped so I have the job of ungluing again this year
