Removing Hydroflex Steering

Some advice please!!

I need to remove the Hydroflex steering from an old console to re-install onto my shiny new console, but have run into a problem. I removed the 4 long bolts that run through the bosses as shown in pic one and expected it to come away, but it did not!!.

In pic 2 you can see some of the 6 Allen key headed counter sunk bolts that run around the circumference of the circular part of the internal boss, I have already taken out the one at the one 'o’clock' position. Do I need to remove all of these or is it something to do with the various other bolts on the internal boss?

Thoughts and advice gratefully accepted.

Regards

Andy

Thanks, Sikaflex aside, should the two halves just pull apart with just the four long bolts removed?
