rentals rib wanted

I'm looking for a bareboat rental rib in Croatia as from end of April until half of July. The boat will be used during a television production. The boat is ment for regular transfer of a max. of 5 guestis from land to a sail yacht. Buy and resale afterwards is also possible. Can any one please help me on this ? Gery Bessemans

Not knowing if there are any forum members out in that region, may I suggest you talk to Sunsail, I know they do yacht charter and have sailing schools there. They might be able to help, its an idea!

There are some good harbours in North Italy I've been to Trieste you may be able to collect one from there.

I know Croatia really well and can get you access to any number of Croatian boatyards and english speaking Croatians (I work with about 350 Yugoslavs).

Another possibility is that I have a 5M rib that you could collect from The Netherlands (I'm 20mins from Hook of Holland) and tow down to Croatia. Depending which part you are going to depends on which route, but northern Croatia in a day is possible (but tiring). Other parts and you need to take the Ancona to Split or Zadar or Dubrovnik ferry.

Be warned: I wanted to hire a RIB for a few days once and was presented with a monster which I rejected. I then had to get one of my chums to sort outthe whole mess.
