Welcome back Nasher.
You know looking for a low hours Yamaha 200 HPDI is like searching for the holy grail? Had a quick scan, so they do come up ocassionaly, if you don't mind buying the bleed'n boat it's attached to! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-20...-/202672851713
I'll keep a look out. In the meantime, it would be worth dropping an email to boat yards and workshops that you're in the market. I reckon these engines are rare, and if they know you're looking it might make all the difference for an owner who's on the fence on whether to sink their life savings into a 4-stroke upgrade.

Argh the Nashers Revenge. I think all onboard thought we were about to suffer a capsize coming out of Portsmouth on a very windy day....can you believe that was thirteen years ago! We made it to Yarmouth - that was quite an adventure. And not forgetting drunken lifts back to Pompey in the back of your Landcruiser (?). Good old Uni days hanging out with the Ribnet "massive" at the Churchillian Inn!

Return of The Nashers Revenge
Wow, so many names from the past, I'm touched, and pleased to hear from you all.
We did have some great times, such a mixture of ages and characters all getting on well through a love of mucking about in boats.
And yes, that trip to Yarmouth, everyone thought we were mad, but if you remember Nos made the trip that day in his 4M searider by following the Redjet ferry across the Solent.
I still think we were so lucky not to go over backwards as we were completely vertical.
Oh, and how could I forget the young lady that Willk associates with a Python.
She was with us that day on the trip to Yarmouth in TNR. I don't remember the Python, but have a vague recollection of a small pair of white shorts for some reason.
Edit
Worth a read from page 18 onwards
http://www.rib.net/forum/f18/yarmout...tml#post167820
The stuff we used to get up to.
Going to go to bed happy tonight guys, thanks.

I think I’ve fixed the link - not sure sometimes the app does that.

Hello mate
I didn't follow the ferry over, when we left Lymington it was so bloody 'orrible I couldn't turn round safely so we kept going straight into it til we got into the lee of the Island. Only thing was, I ended up off Hamstead Ledge because it wasn't safe to go to Yarmouth in a straight line. It took well over an hour!
I DID follow the Wightlink back though, a following sea wasn't in my list of things to do in that weather.

Lol. The sight of so many of his erstwhile detractors in one place was too much for him.

It appears my talent for bringing out the worst in people has surfaced again.
Is it really his first post in 6 years?
If so I'll feeling just a little proud of myself for persuading him out of retirement.
I'll take a little bow to you gents, you can thank me for reuniting you with your friend.
Now, where's Codprawn?

Y'know, I think I might have actually missed you.
In the same way people miss Sheldon Cooper, granted.
