Revenger 715

What do you say about this Rib?

http://www.revenger.co.uk/715/715.html

How fast do you think it is with 150 2/4 stroke.

Should you buy this or what should you go for...

I can go for the Swedish (Swedish build?) Rib unlimited 700/702 for around 10500 £ inc. vat. www.rib.nu

Or not a rib.....anytec 622 at 14500 £ or 750 anytec at 22500 £? www.anytec.se

But this style is right for me, maybe a chasecraft if they will answer my mail and send me prices.

I like the jockey seat! Should I go for a 23 with jockey... help me

If i was you i would go for the revenger, we have revenger 29 2 x 225 evinrudesthat have been uesed for Searafting for 3 years now and the hull and tubes are still in wery good condition, i allso did rig a new revenger 29 stepped hull version 2 x250 suzukies for Fjordrafting 2 weeks ago he has never been so pleased with a boat before.

Revenger is top quality boats, and we have tested other brands both from England and Sweden that have not lived up to the quality.

You can not compare the quality and seakeeping of a Rib unlimited 700 and a revenger - revenger is the best without any doubt.

compare the weight of the boats and you will see where revenger put the quality.

A RU 700 is faster than a revenger but i have spoken with people that say that the boat is instabel at high speeds and i now for shure that i would not handel big waves like a revenger.

good little boat for its size although strange seating. Pay the extra 600 and get dark blue tubes, i saw one rigged by chris lewis in this colour and it looked amazing, great contrast with white gelcoat. Very worth while.

about 55mph with a 150 rude i think was stated once

I think you'd be lucky to get 50 mph. I reckon high 40s would be more realistic.

Those bench seats must be popular, because they seem determined to stick with them although they provide zero lateral support. I think they're hopeless, bordering on dangerous.

John

I would tend to agree with John on both speed and seating .Great if you are pottering down the river but if your using it at sea think you would always regret it.When you decide every one would agree i think make the effort and time to do a test drive it may cost you 400 pounds in time and overnight accomodation but when spending in excess of 20 thousand pounds its a good investment
