Good to see the boat in its finery today. Lakelandterrier and Crew2 were hard at work telling the story, and Whisper seemed to appear wherever I went around the show!

The "Princes Staffroom" - I didn't realise you were moving in royal circles, or that Wills & Harry were there today! Is it really the Duchess of Cambridge?
To be fair Whisper has been cajoling & badgering everyone he can at the show to increase the profile & publicity even further & with great success.....trying to dump a load of Henshaw Macrib flyers on the Zodic stand was may be a tad over-ambitious - but they have taken a money bucket

Any way....
After helping a damsel in distress that works for Princess I told her that I was on a mission to find a celebrity to have a photo with our MacRIB.
It turns out that her mate is Miss Universe GB and she's also working on the Princess Stand. After I met her today, I have to say she is a lovely person and really wants to help us!
Any way here she is...
Fingers crossed all goes well

Oh, b****r. I navigated away from what I was writing and it all fell into a black hole.
Anyway . . Thanks to Biff saying I could stay in the man cave, I got an extra day in the sun, and anyone who showed the slightest interest in the MacRib has had a recounting (as time has passed - increasingly incoherent!) of the story of everyone's involvement.
Whisper has only stood still long enough to drink his current cup of tea - and then he was off again, making sure everyone on site knows about the rib and the auction.
I've had a great few days, met loads of lovely people, and acquired yet more tan lines on the already impressive patchwork quilt across my shoulders.
Thank you to everyone involved, in all your many ways, in getting to this stage. Next weekend is going to be awesome!
