De Graaf trailers are brilliant, really helpful guys at the workshop too

Yup, it's a De-Graaff. Agreed, Dan et al are top blokes. Made me a gorgeous twin axle last year, in about three days. Amazing turnaround - everyone else quoted 4 weeks minimum.

As for this trailer, I've got some goodies for that. I'll swing by and measure up

Yes a de graaf
It towed 230 miles yesterday and today really nicely :-)

Their workshop is really well set up and they can just take bits from relevant shelves, and chassis from relevant piles outside to make up a trailer, I guess that's why they can meet orders at such short notice.

Well done! While you're at it can you take a look at front set of rollers and how they are aligned? Currently across the chines and we were not so happy with that but seemed best we could do unless we could put narrower rollers on there? Your opinion on how it might be best set up would be welcome :thumbs

Also reckon the other de graaf winch post needs to go on at some stage, the one we just switched to is too high I think. But we ran out of time.

Sure Alex will upload the pics tonight. Left the new engine temporarily bolted in place on transom and hanging from biffs' roof. For some reason transom holes are just out of alignment with outboard saddle holes. Tiny bit in bit but most annoying. A bit of fiddling to do there

Yup, no probs at all. I'll set it up, once the RIB's back on the trailer. Anything else that needs doing, just let me know.

PS. Tweeted the following, trust this is ok?:

Andre from Parker Ribs popped round today to say hi, he had found one of those air horns that was new in the packet so he dropped it around

So the donor boat is stripped and the trailers have been swapped over, spent far too long setting the trailer up though.....

Normally with a Degraff and a searider you have to have all the rollers near the keel but we moved the rear ones out which looks good but as Neil said the front ones sits right were the chines change direction so it will need looking at and the winch post too. One thing I will say is that we should think about it being launched in shallow water like at baiter etc so may be in tight to the keel may be better?

Degraff are really good so they should be able to help if we need them I'll take a pic of mine tomorrow.

The front hoist is connected to the R4M and the rear hoist is connected to the outboard to help you lot with the trailer set up, engine service and deck flow

The keys are in a box on the console, the wheel bearings that we got free with the tailer are on the spare wheel and all the cables are on the floor on the lefthand side of the workshop

Thanks for letting us use your Man Cave today Biff

Nice one, done something like this before on a golf putter, used enamel model paint and removed excess with acetone
