Don't think either of us were thinking straight by the time we were trying to do that Sunday. Snubber looks much better lower down. But can the winch handle be used, or does it hit the tube? I thought the other new post might be better as the winch can be a bit lower.

The handle works, I'll have a look at the rollers tomorrow after I've made a towbar for a Cadillac limo

Is there no way to get the towing eye under the bow stubber ? It'll be better configured to help prevent it going through the rear window if the eventual buyer doesn't strap it down correctly

There may be a way, I'll have a look, I was going to put a small chain also from the loop on the winch post to the bow eye

This is how I did mine, not ideal and I have a smaller winch too.

They are great for towing but a bit of a pain to get set up right on a deep v...

My best guess would be to move the rear rollers in one chine and then again on the front, it'll look like it's sitting high but you'll be able to pic a rib off the floor with it, so getting back on the trailer on any slip would be easy.

Yes, I reckon I can put the snubber up under the winch and rewind the winch so the strap exists at the bottom of the winch, I've adjusted the front up high so we can use the winch, I'm looking at lifting the back up a little as well, I'll get it right, looks like I've got a weekend to fiddle around on my own

Perfect! Now they can use a ratchet strap to that Hoop directly under bow eye. Good job
