Afternoon all. Just a weekly update of our funds. There were some funny eBay type deals at the end of the week as a result I've finished up with another £100 from Philipflop. Thanx again mate

Great stuff!
Those Geckos look the business.
It gets the mind wondering though what goes into a 'military spec' paddle instead of say......................an ordinary one?
Concealed bayonet perhaps?

Just an update on funds, you'll all be pleased to know, not least Neil Harvey that our total has just topped over £2.5k, the donor boat is now sold and not to the original buyer I might add, , I have had dialogue with Daniel about wiring and am eager to keep this project going forward anyway I can, will start the repairs and hole filling in console this week, I would like to nudge Matt H for a switch panel, if you can find it, no probs if you can't, but let me know, my aim is to carry on with whatever's left and get most of it done before the boat comes back, there is no pressure on anyone to come on over but you're are all welcome anyway, there isn't enough bit for us all to work on anyway

Nice one Biff, I'm still collecting the last few parts and all that, but it's great news that we can pay Neal back
Do you have enough gel left over?

Thanks folks
The £2250 loan has now been repaid.
Whisper, that means I owe £100 for the VHF which I'll pay by just giving when it arrives

are we sure that we will not need to buy anything else before we start "giving" money away to just giving? it would annoying finding something had to be bought and short of few pounds...

Good point.
Money direct is great and ideally gets the tax benefit, money for stuff is great and hopefully the purchase price of the entire boat will get the tax benefit to?
