The macrib tubes are a steal for what he's asking for them. Having seen them up close and being the original Avon they still have 20 years in them and would fab with very little work...I'm sure partly why whisper chose the boat he did :-)

I can't talk for Chris but from experience when ask I quote as a ball park figure £800 per metre. I'm sure Chris would be happy for your business. He's very approachable so give him a call at Henshaws. He probably isn't the cheapest but he's right on top for quality

Just been reading some info on an email from Macmillan, it contained a link to an appeal read by Jo Brand on Radio 4. She explained about Macmillan well and also gave out some interesting figures...

£30 could pay for a Macmillan Nurse for an hour and £200 could pay for a macmillan nurse for a day. So what we have been doing is making quite a difference

If you want to listen to Jo's appeal the link is here:

BBC Radio 4 - Radio 4 Appeal, Macmillan Cancer Support

And here's a link to our ribnet justgiving page:

Rib. net is fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support

Looking forward to starting work again on the Macrib

No worries. Gramas deserves credit for agreeing to the deal and I hope he'll be pleased with the Teleflex system which I'm just off to the Post Office to post for him

I've explained what we are going to do with the account and they are happy with this, I would suggest that when you donate you put Macmillan and your RIBnet name so it will show on the statement.
I've elected to have the statements online so I can make our transactions as transparent as possible

Thanks lads. Been neglecting this a bit lately but really glad you lot are still at it. I will make it up to you lot once I start work again after Christmas. I'm having a far better time this year than I had last year. Hope some of you are up to coming over for some abuse and mayhem in the new year

Santa's been!!!

We have a Boat Hook from Lakelandterrier

Maximus sent a new Engine Lock

A brand new boxed 13 1/2 x 15k prop for us to sell (as it's too small for us) from Jeff Hutcheon

2 x Barrus fuel tanks from Bushrider - these have travelled from Germany to Hull, over to Mike Whitam in Preston, from there Landlord picked them up and now they are here with me where I will take them down to the MacRib

The power of Ribnet...

Merry Christmas you lot

Alex,
You want the tanks spraying the same colour? Or any colour you wish? I have special paint to do so if required,

Nice one Ed, I like to look of those Black Barrus Diesel tanks I need to service them first as apparently the pick up pipes have a tendency to perish, also I'm hoping that Nos still has a couple of valves in his rather large parts bin

I'll drop them up as soon as I get them sorted

So the only question is Black or Grey???

Hold that thought Ed...

Inside the darker of the two tanks I think the pick up pipe has completely broken down and all thats left is a black mess all inside the tank with the filter laying in the bottom, either that or it could be something else? So to be honest I don't think that tank is useable, however the other lighter grey one looks ok

I think we need one more Barrus tank though

Fair play to Bushrider for going to all this trouble to get them to us

Hi Whisper ,
Sorry to hear that one of the tanks cannot be used . I never used them before and if I knew that before I would not have taken it accross Europe to get it to you !
A Merry Xmas to everybody !
