Let's not get hung up on price...it's not about 'profit' ......is it?

It'll sell for whatever someone is willing to pay.... however it comes about.:-)

We'll find out how much it's worth when it sells

When we do the work we don't talk about the boat or Macmillan, we talk about the person that is going to buy it (make a massive donation to Macmillan). So we are doing all this work for them. We want them to be absolutely over the moon and have a fantastic rib

On top of this we have managed to get them lots of nice kit for it too

For us it's all about the "Mr Legend" who is going to make the donation

Except it won't, as if "Mr Legend" makes the top sealed bid but it doesn't match the "reserve" price set, he doesn't get it. So by setting a reserve or minimum price your making it about profit (Or at least money), not project

But it's not sealed bids, it's going to auction.

The costs are (pretty accurate but not exact) : -

55 kilo pig £150
Buns, slaw, apple sauce, stuffing, etc. £50

There's no charge for time, plates, gas or equipment etc as this has already been donated

We do still have money in the bank but as promised we won't be using it for the party.

It will be a free hog roast but with a bucket for donations that will go the Macmillan Cancer Support.
