Follower = somebody who appears to be interested in what you are saying
Following = a somebody that YOU Follow - ie pretend to be interested in what they are saying - hoping that there followers will follow you...

With twitter you follow people and your news feed show ALL the messages posted by the people that you follow. With Facebook you see a select few of the messages from your friends (Facebook filters them and decides what shows up in your feed along with a few adverts).

Hey guys, it was great to meet you yesterday, and I can only apologise for not being able to stay longer! Hopefully we'll be able to meet for longer next time.
The Rib looks fantastic and will make a proud owner even more proud knowing they bought it for a great cause!
My Mrs had a good idea yesterday regarding how to sell/auction it - how about talking to MacMillan to see if they will add it to one of their large glitzy auctions that they regularly run at charity balls or function nights?
Failing that I think eBay may be the way to go, and approach them to see if they will waive the sellers fees as it's for charity?

Hey dude Great to meet you too.
Meeting with Macmillan again soon so I'll let you know. I have asked this before though.
Was interviewed for a Magazine today so working on the media stuff at the moment
We look to be in PBR's next issue covering around 6 pages and hopefully the front cover for Round IOW 2013 which will support Round IOW 2014 apparently they really have worked hard in trying to get everyone in.
Our RIB 4 Macmillan build will be in a later issue.

It never ceases to amaze me how much you have put in - and still are putting in - to this project.

Guys,
I thought I'd finally join up and drop in with a word of encouragement, after watching your progress (and taking a whole 12 hour shift to catch up on this thread - sshhh don't tell the company!) over the months, and really thank you all for your huge efforts, and all the contributions that have been made. The boat looks fantastic, and I'm under no illusions as to the amount of work that has been required to bring it so far.
Unfortunately I can't make it down to any of the cruises that you have planned (work rotation gets in the way i'm afraid), but I would have loved to meet you all and see the boat!
Anyway, keep up the good work guys, words can't describe the difference that the donation will make to those that need it.
All the best

Thanks for the encouragement, there are things going on all the time you will find a way of meeting some of us, although it's a fairly large and spread out forum members list we are quite tight knit community, I'm going to Australia soon but still meeting a ribnetter.
This project has brought a number of us even closer, as a cancer patient I have a vested interest in doing this but it humbles me when I see others stopping up time after time.
Anyone to help with the tidying up this morning? LOL
