Thank you all ever so much for all your donations, donated parts and labour. Also not forgetting all those who have been following this thread too.

Your support throughout this project has been absolutely amazing, we started with nothing and ended up with something very special which demonstrates that even in very tough times there are still loads of amazing people out there willing to give to other people that they don't even know.

The build was very tough but made easier by Christopher taking on and donating the tubes and also by Biffer donating his time, workshop, electricity and also his infinite wisdom. And while he was working on our MacRib he wasn't earning any money himself.

Every time we hit a problem a solution was found, we improved everything we could to make sure that we made the very best out of your donations.

This project also brought a lot of likeminded people together who will always stay friends.

Biff and I still have a few more bits to do and we will complete these by the 9th March when the RIB will be shown to all that want to see her at KB Boatpark, Portsmouth.

http://www.rib.net/forum/f18/rib-4-m...rty-60509.html

So we hope to see you there and we look forward to seeing your faces when you see that she is just so much better up close than she is in the pictures.

Thank you all for everything, you lot are amazing

Agreed, we don't name names or else Daniel would be very embarrassed

Just seen that chinook we saw today on bbc news, it was dropping those land rovers to the iow to help with the problems with this bad weather and floods.

You can see them land if you watch the news.
