Rib Charter Chi Habour Area

Any body here know of any?

I whan to have a try with my family before I buy

I have a RYA level 2 power boat training certificate

When I used to stay on Hayling Island a guy used to advertise his boat locally for bare boat charter. Expensive though.

If you want to try before you buy why not go to the Sports Boat and RIB Show.

Both shows allow you to try before you buy. AND ITS FREE. After paying any entry fee that is.

We will do Bareboat Charter out of Haslar Marina, but owing to our sky high insurance premiums for bareboating, the cost is extremely similar if not higher than for skippered Charter!

Biggles thanks for the link will go there for the day out as well as ribex on the IOW

I just want to take take my wife out for a day or so to see if she will enjoy rather than a thrash around for a few minutes and frighten her to death

The offer of some petrol money usually goes a long way and is not classed as commercial - I am sure someone will oblige but not bareboat!!!

"Reasonable Expenses" are allowed, and you're quite right, I'm sure someone in the area would lend a boat on that basis.
