My only thought with that type of rain suit is that it isn't breathable. Having sailed (sorry) either side of Goretex sailing gear becoming available, I'd say the additional comfort provided by breathable stuff warrants the additional expense although breathable kit has come down in price significantly.
I get breathable if working hard but sat on a boat do you sweat that much decent under layer on? Bikers seem too rate them
You can sweat a lot on a rib. Having said that a lot of breathable kit doesn't cope too well with salt water anyway so non-breathable may be no worse...
Sat on a bike or sat on a rib/sib same thing sooner find out you sweat for £30 than £200 hope someone tries one out ideal if on a budget good wash down after use should last a while
They do a one piece as well. I prefer they two piece because you can leave the trousers on the boat when you go ashore for lunch.
To keep warm the Fladen suits are great, I have a one piece. But a wet weather jacket (Musto etc. - often found in TKMaxx at great prices) combined with a decent set of salopettes are generally plenty.
