D&B CD of all UK companies, you just pay for the number of downloads from it you want. Very useful for getting names of executives and their position within Co. Not expensive either.

Everybody has been having a go at you but in my opinion for the wrong reasons. Firstly I didn't start this thread off to attack either Jason or Plumbers and I actually have time for Jason and Posport and appreciate his difficulties in communication.

I also appreciate that you pays your money and you takes your choice but we are not talking about cheep and cheerful products , al beit good quality, such as Solent Ribs, Prosort or Parkers but four of the countries most expensive and reputable manufacturers.

From those 4 only Ribcraft deserve to get any business from me in the future as they took the time to treat me as a person.

Avon are the worlds largest manufacturers of RIBS, Ocean Dynamics make excellent and expensive Boats and Ribtec seem to charge fairly highly for their products

I don't actually care who you are but if you are who I think you are then welcome to the Forum, there is a lot of people speak highly of you here.

RHIB Enquiries

Thanks PeteL for you kind mention and as always am pleased that we were of some help.

For those unaware we are 95% commercial and undertake large vessel fit out with the majority of superstructure compenents being made in house in aluminium. We do make ali hulls but from our own Thousand Islands/Voyages Of Discovery operation have learnt that the GRP hulls perform best relative to power. (when we took over the TIEX operation we dispensed with the ali hulls).

We are, almost arogantly, lucky that we do not need to undertake boat building/fitting but rather that it is done as a profitable "diversifiaction" for the company. As such we take on no more than a dozen large projects a year and the more interesting the customer or the specifications/problems the better !!

The comments on lack of response we coomonly hear. Our attitude is that if you can take the trouble to travel a long way to visit us you will be provided at our cost with superb accomodation, a day discussing not just boats but our experience of commercial passenger operations and seatrials of one of our own vessels. Now dont say the Welsh are that bad !

We are though also candid and thus we ask that you get to the point and be transparent.

Alas I have to confess that our office is closed this week but normally can be called on

01437 720285
or
0800854367

Workshops on 01437720113

but as always if there is something to discuss call me at home on 01437721802 ( and be nice to the wife !!)

Regards and best wishes to all at Christmas

John Price

Paul sadly no, you are quite right this is exactly what I was thinking off, as you say a dark time for all concerned.

Paintball, nar, couldn't have professionals taking part, very unsporting,

Potcheen, hmm used to arrive in Londonderry from the free state in lemonade bottles, RUC never seemed to check, mind you they were the biggest customer,

Forget making ribs, Potcheen and red diesel is were the money is,

Pete

Now there's the mystery.
5 are known NWR but unfortunately PD is one of them! Therefore there could be 4 turning up.
Jahno could end up with a course on then which would reduce this number to 3.
DM is a ? already so now 2.
MeMe has been known to partake the falling over water before a cruise so he's a maybe, that's 1.
I am not impressed with the thought of all you SW's popping away at me with 500 dulux pellets so that's 0.
