I am Diego from Spain, i have the option of buy a yam 430 rib of 1997 year for a price of 2600 euros, the rib looks fine but i am afraid because all people say me that the glue of ribs have a expiry time and it is around 10 years, can somebody help me with this question??
RIBs do not automatically fall apart at 10 years. They will, most likely, show some age, but there are plenty of RIBs and SIBs over 10 years old that are still going strong.
You should do a careful inspection of the vessel you're looking at, and evaluate for yourself if the price is fair (not really any different than buying a recently manufactured used boat.)
