OK then you asked for it.

Alan P - exactly what part of you do your groupies support, and do you think they could give me some help with my hobby ?

When is your next trip then Allen? Since you need Groupie support.... it is the RIB I am interested in (and of course its big trip) and it does seem like Alan P is attached to the boat!!!

Does the Isla of Man not have many groupies? I do have fond memories of my two visits there...many moons ago.(nice seafront)

Did I read right...sharks ON the water and not IN the water.

Enjoy the dinner on the week-end. Where is my invite? ah, it is still in the post.

Yes, you read it right - "on the water"

I assumed you'd be accompanying Alan P

This is the lucky 50th post sent!!!

Anhyway, Allen has gone very quiet - how are the sharks on the Isle of Man?

Enjoy the RIBEX dinner - perhaps the invite will arrive tomorrow.....then again...perhaps not.

Are you intersted in crewing?

Are you interested in crewing and if so do you have a boat limit size and do you mind getting wet... If you wanted to go out I am starting to organise small solent cruises and you are welcome to join one of the boats if not mine. It is only a humble 4metre boat but I give the big boys a run for their money as it will do 40 knots down hill with the wind behind it...
Cardiff isn't too far from the Southcoast...

Cool, thanks very much for the offer.
No, I do not mind getting wet, and the size of the boat is no object.

Can take train / bus down there no hassle - may even get a car soon, you never know.

Keep in touch.

Thinking of you all and hoping you have a good party.

The Ribex Dinner was excellent - thoroughly well organised, as usual, by the capable Chris Kaye.

Most of the "greats" of the Rib world were there, along with one or two others who post in this forum

The main award of the night - The Puffin Trophy - went to Sir Charles Blois for his epic solo adventure in the Mediterranean.

Photos have the habit of returning to haunt at a later date, so I don't risk that sort of thing . No names no pack-drill sort of thing !

Aagh, I may have to hide that week-end then - yeah right, like a daffodil amongst a field of red roses. Could always pretend I am someone else.

What boat? Going where?
I just came for the party.

Hopefully if there are a few boats around then a cruise around the solent might be achieved... if there are some other boats then I am sure there will be space somewhere if not in mine...
