rib hull

Presumably you must have a lot of experience of glasswork & boatbuilding , otherwise wouldnt boat building be best left to the experts and probably more cost effective timewise ?

What type / length of rib are you thinking of constructing ? It may prove a better solution to buy a cheap hull which needs work.

Diy build

Tony Lee Elliot advertised his moulds for hire a while back, in RIB International.
I see you are a bit far away for hiring but I see he is also trying to sell the business, It might just be worth a phone call.

Don't heed those who are sceptical about DIYing, they really don't understand. But you probably do not need me to tell you that.

JW.

Plans

Randy - send me an email with more details of the boat you are looking for, and I can give you some leads on tunnel boat and powercat plans.

Randy

as matter of interest what are your thoughts about the tube.
Are you thinking of making this yourself?

Unless

you are building this rib for the pleasure / challenge of doing so and are not concerned about a budget

it would be far more cost effective to buy a second hand package and tidy it up

for example this Avon Searider 5.45 rib has just been sold for GBP 2300 including a trailer & 80 HP Yamaha with bits & bobs such as console , VHF, etc

There is no way you can build a rib and then fit out engine etc for this price
