Rib Identification plate

Hi there,

I'm in the process of restoring my Ballistic rib that i purchased as a project.

I've moved the old I'd vin plate but I'm trying to identify what the numbers mean.

Can anyone help please and where they think I can get a new one made up.

Apologies for the upside down picture
Thanks in advance

Craig

from memory, 1st 2 letters are country of origin, next 3 are manufacturer, next 3 are model, next 3 hull number of that model, the D means it was made in April, and the 102 means built in 2001 for the 2002 model year.

Thank you for that.

Any idea on the other letters and numbers??

71 in top left corner
The letter "C"
Figures 10
Figure 757
Figure 0614
And lastly figure 170?? Just before the figure I can make out "max" and a prop picture so I wonder if that's engine size

All are a mystery to me

Letter C will be design category, the 170 is indeed max power, but in kilowatts, which is 226 hp.

I suspect the 0614 is the CE test certificate number, that would have been issued to the model of rib.

71 is possibly 7.1 metres.....

other numbers should indicate max no of passengers and max carrying capacity.

A "euro" person was 75 kg, but that might have changed
