Rib in boatyard

Working down Great Yarmouth and my companies vessels in dry dock , spied this in the yard tho so questions are , what type is it and is it worth a cheeky low offer?
Been told it's sat there for 4/5 yr being moved round the yard

Think that may be an Atlantic 21 with the console and A Frame.

Agreed, it looks like an Atlantic 21 or poss an Arctic 22.

Re-tube would be £4.5 - £5k for decent tubes, might need new rails which would be a couple of hundred. If the hull is solid they are fantastic sea boats.

Actually thinking about it, if it's an Arctic Henshaws tend to have a stock of refurbed 2nd hand tubes. Might be worth a look.

If you ask price and decline to buy I am also very interested in this,,

Henshaws could adapt some of there surplus tubes to suit still going to be 3/4 k though plus 500 sods for the Ali rails, trust me I purchased some last year

Ex-Scottish Fisheries Protection Agency. The tubes don't look too bad in the pics. Not sure I'd want a RIB with no transom, there's wet and then there's wet.

I just LOVE that release handle for the lift cable: "RELEASE!..."

Kerplunk!

Atlantic. 21 most definitely ,

Spent 18 mts looking for another of these,
One of my wished I had done on the last one ,, was to increase transom height, and a centre console with arrow formation seating there after behind,

Bloody great hulls

RIBase
MCS Maestro

Had to chuckle at the windfarm support vessel in the background which, the way things are going, will look like the RIB in a couple of years as the demands made on these vessels grow ever more intense each year.

We chartered MCS Maestro brand new from the South Boat factory on the Isle of Wight (as was) three years ago for deployment on the construction of London Array windfarm but the minimum size we use now is 26 metres (10m beam).

There will be a few 'discarded' WSVs joining the numbers of abandoned oil & gas field RIBs over the next few years....
