I spent the evening sorting my handbag collection ....I prefer to call them manbags. Willk needs to work on his ...very poor taste and no orange in there to accessorise with? ( Light hearted humour there to lighten the thread up a bit.... )

I have been with Towergate for years not had to claim, but have transferred polices between boats & even got a refund as the replacement was worth less!!

Steer well clear of navigators and general. They will do anything to avoid paying out for a claim.
Euromarine are very helpful and are very reasonable.

I use Porthcawl, never had to make a claim but have always been very helpful.
When I wanted to moor my SR4 in the harbour and leave it in all year they understood it was a RIB and were happy to provide cover.
Other said nope a 4m boat with a 50hp outboard will probably sink over winter.

As do most insurance companies, that's the name of the game.

I use the NFU - not the first company that would spring to mind but they were £60 cheaper than the next best company. I have always found them to provide excellent service and never quibble about a claim.
