does that sound a reasonable price to you, any comparisons out there ?

sounds pretty fair to me. Mine is about £300 for a higher value, trailed with wide cruising limits.

PS, make sure you have an agreed value & not Market Value in case of a total loss.

Just had my Porthcawl insurance renewal quote come though at £270 for insured value of £25,000 and £250 excess so £206 does seem too bad to me.
