Rib Petrol Tank

Hi
The dive club has a 5.5Ribcraft and at some point a inboard stainless petrol tank has been fitted it as a breather pipe on it ,(approx 60 litre) and is filled by a 50m/m pipe the filler cap is mounted high on helm.
Trouble is we cannot tell when filling how much is in and it is often over filled resulting in petrol everyware
Any ideas to sort this problem

If you start a log of hours / distance and how much fuel is needed to top up after each run, very quickly you'll get a view on how much fuel you burn / hr or NM.
Top up to that, going more slowly when you think it's getting full.

The fuel whistle is a brilliant bit of kit. Just make sure you get a couple of good quality stainless hose clips to fit it. Mikalor are my hose clip of choice.
