Some people can be really stupid on Ebay - look how many bids he has - none!!!

The best prices tend to come from people who put things on with no reserve - once the bidding starts it usually goes nuts!

Well, the prrof of the pudding is in the eating! If the RIB sells, then the reserve was not too high. If it doesn't, then it was!

Anything is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it and if you can find two people that want it enough then the sky's the limit!

So keep your fingers crossed that it does sell, 'cos then you'll have a nice valuable rig sitting in the garage or wherever!

Its also only worth what the insurance value it at if is stolen/damaged. I had to fight the insurance company to get £3500 for my Searider and 40hp, with all the kit inc VHF,etc and trailer...

Your forgetting,

you think its expensive, I think its expensive but they only need one person who doesn`t and they 're quids in.

I know somebody who sold a 15k boat for 20K, just cause the right person came along at the right time.

Crazy but thats how it happens.

Chris

I guess it was then - its very true about what you said about something only being worth as much as someones willing to pay for it
