Early days with my 6m & a 115hp but managed 40knot over New Year in some very shitty conditions! And the only other boat out beyond the bar was anther Ribeye.
If is proves not to be up to the job I will let you know, but so far so good.

My Ribtec was made in SA by Ribeye, hull, tubes and all, everything is very tidy and can't fault it, except for the mess the jokers made who fitted the engine and electronics.
I do think they are quite a lot of money new but after chatting to the local dealer they get discounted quite a bit.

My Ribtec was made in England I think. it was one of the origional ones.
20 years on and all it needed was new tubes as I put my knee through the very worn tube.
The tubes were and are hypalon and after 18 years of abuse and I mean abuse they were replaced.
So I am and always will be a Ribtec Bod.
Great boat handles well.
had 6 burley divers and 2 crew on it out to the Edistone rocks and back no bother. all on a 75hp 2st Mariner.
And the engine is still going strong now.!!

They've made quite a few. Not everyone's choice and as said, very few will take green to sea.

That's nice, will you be buying her a proper boat when she's all growed up?

Yes seems to be more popular with your countrymen - I wonder if Guinness affects colour vision!
