Rib stolen in Southampton last night 3-10-14

Hi folks, this isnt ours but a friend of a friend - just posting so folks can keep their eyes peeled.

Perdator 599 manufactured 2006 with Susuki four stroke 90hp black outboard.

Stolen from the pontoons behind Quay 2000 (flats in St Denys) on River Itchen.

Cameras appear to show it being removed by two people at 1.40am and being rowed up river.

If anyone happens across it I have the chaps mobile number but wont post it here as I dont actually know him.

Ian

I dont think its the same boat - consoles look different from the pics but as you say, stolen to order makes you wonder...

The other thing is from the pics this boat was on a pontoon with just two lines between it and theft. What do people normally do in those situations? Wire lock to make it harder or something?

Definitely not the same boat, the one stolen in July had teak decking.

Same area though, same make- same engine.?

Must be a horrible feeling turning up- and your pride n joy gone.

Chain is a start as is removing a couple of critical fuses although you say they paddled away anyway.

Just heard again the rib has been found up river on an old pontoon but the tubes have all been slashed. Looks like a drunk finding a fun way home. The owner is on the war path (fair enough) but at least its not completely gone.
