Rib storage - Aylesbury on trailer and south coast dry stack in summer months
Hi all - looking for a cost effective place to store my 6m rib on a trailer near Aylesbury. Guess there might be farms or caravan storage places but could not find something close through searching - any ideas? Also anyone happen to know how much it would cost per month for a summer dry a stack place at lymington or on the hamble?
Thanks

Hi More 288.
Nice to find another rib netter in the Aylesbury area. I live in Haddenham and keep my boat in a local caravan storage place. Any good to you?

Thanks both of you - I have emailed Southampton dry stack to get a quote. It looks like they do reasonably good priced winter storage as well? Could you tell me the name of the farm in Haddenham? Richard

You could also try Drivers Dryberthing www.dryberthing.com ask for Gareth.
Its not a traditional drystack, but a boatyard with a crane. So they charge monthly and for each time you go in and out. Can stay on pontoon few days at a time. Really nice guys. Depends what you want. Cheaper than drystack unless you really make use of the unlimited lifts facility. They may even offer that if asked.

Guys,
Given the amount of ribs stollen it would perhaps be prudent to pm info on storage. Won't make a huge difference but it may stop it being yours

I'm not sure discussing commercial dry stack type operations (which have been mentioned so much on here by name that I can tell you about them from 600 miles away) and presumably are easy to Google is going to compromise security. However if anyone has posted more than they think wise, let us know and we can whisk it away...

Of course a Pm for local places is perfect. I am sure secure storage for boats or caravans should be fine to post. All ideas welcomed however they are delivered. Thanks in advance . Richard.
