Ribbing in the Antarctic

If you think it’s been cold recently…

“Ollie is the over-wintering Boating Officer at Rothera, the British Antarctic Survey’s largest research station. The role requires the helming, maintenance and administration of the station’s small boats - consisting of four RIBs between 6 and 7.5 metres. This blog shares experiences and stories from his time ‘down South’.”

I'll save this for a read when I get the chance!

Lucky fella, I've always wanted to apply for this job but never had the required qualifications. Now, I can tick all of their prerequisites; I'm not sure I could go as much as I'd love to!
I know a few people who have applied for this job over the years but have not been successful and a few others who have been there in different roles, and all tell some good stories.
