Ribbing in vicinity of Fort William

I will be in Fort William this week for holidays and i am looking for a good opportunity for a 'spin around the block', since it seems like a worthwile experience in these surroundings (for sure a different setting than home) - any suggestions who/which organisation I should contact?

Best regards Gabor

Not sure about in the Loch, but if you're prepared to travel down the coast for 2 hours (60 miles), these guys run a very professional show - their Corryvreckan Tour is very good - wild stuff!

Hi yea as per Wilk in terms of Sea-fari they also run out of Dunstaffnage. In terms of that part of the West why not PM BruceB or Seaskills I am sure both these guys will help you as will Sea-fari.
What ever you do enjoy

No my wife didnt allow me on our honeymoon ;-)

Seriously, getting all 1850 kilos of it to the netherlands from lymington, when we bought her last year was a long weekend on itself and moreover, my boating partner is presently using it for a sailing regatta in Medemblik.

The coast here seems to be rather nice for a trip though....

Thanks input so far - will send some pm's

I'm not sure you'll need to travel that far, though it would be a nice trip to add to your holiday. I've seen a Humber Offshore trip boat moored at Fort William - don't know whether it is still there. Then there is (was?) an outfit at Ballachulish, iPowerboat I think it was called. Isn't Tony Hill also somewhere about there too? I seem to remember The Grocer collecting a boat from that area. Moving north to Loch Ness you'll find a couple of big tripping Humbers at Fort Augustus. West of Fort William to Malliag, over the sea to skye (lalala) at Armadale is Pete Fowler's Seafari Skye operation. All these areas are superb scenery and you won't go wrong visiting anywhere on the Scottish west coast. Enjoy.

PS. bring yer wellies n waterproofs, if you forget them it's sure to rain.
