ribcraft 3.5

Anyone had experience with the the Ribcraft 3.5 rib.
Looks like a great compact rib that will handle a chop, i'm after something for general use and this looks like it will do most things I ask.

Peter (sadly departed from here) used to have one - crazy little thing IIRC:

I'd maybe look at a SR4 with 2 stroke 40 though as that bit bigger, faster (safer!?)...

We have a 3.4 with a 25hp and it’s good for what it is but with a 40 well that would be different altogether.

Would be a bit scary I'm thinking and a chine walking bottom squeaker - not exactly going to be much hull in the water at WOT...

So I'm guessing a 40 would be overkill on such a small rib, but I'm still waiting to try a 25 on a Avon 340 inflatable, so will try this combo out as soon as I have a spare day

25 I think is the transom max for our Avon hull it’s not the deepest v and the 3.45 was adeeper hull could take a bigger motor poss 40hp the length isn’t the main factor
